Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine star in the romantic comedy "Songbird," which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on May 2, 2024. The film chronicles the unexpected love affair between a single mother and the lead singer of a popular boy band.

In the film, Hathaway plays Sophie, a 40-year-old single mom who begins an unexpected romance with Jack (Galitzine), the lead singer of the boy band Wings of Fire. Despite their different worlds, Sophie and Jack find themselves drawn to each other's authenticity and vulnerability.

The film also features Ella Rubin, Annie Mumolo, and Solène Rigot. It marks the directorial debut of Shana Feste, who is known for writing and directing films such as "Country Strong" (2010) and "Endless Love" (2014).
